MARLON EDGE

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS

Marlon Edge joined the Mountain West Conference communications staff on July 1, 2002, after a one-year stint as the conference's communications intern. Edge is the primary contact for women's volleyball, baseball and men's and women's swimming and diving, as well as the secondary contact for men's basketball. Additionally, he also serves as the assistant media coordinator for the MWC Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments and assists in the day-to-day operations in the communications department.

Edge is a 2001 graduate of San Diego State University with a B.A. in journalism. While at SDSU, he began his media relations career as a student assistant on the Aztec staff (2000-01) serving as the primary women's cross country contact and secondary softball contact. He also assisted in press operations for football, men's and women's basketball, women's soccer and women's volleyball.

Edge was born and raised in San Diego, Calif.
