MWC Volleyball Player Of The Week Wyoming's Andrea Seele honored.
Nov. 20, 2006 COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Wyoming junior middle blocker Andrea Seele earned Mountain West Conference Volleyball Player of the Week accolades, marking her second career weekly honor. Seele, from Johnstown, Colo., led the Cowgirls to a 2-0 conference record during the final week of the regular season, helping Wyoming clinch the fifth-seed in this week's MWC Volleyball Championship. Against TCU, she had eight kills on 15 attempts for a .476 hitting efficiency. She also collected four total blocks and one dig in the Cowgirls' three-game win. Seele followed that performance by tying her season-best hitting percentage of .500 vs. New Mexico, knocking down 13 kills on 20 swings with only three errors. She also tallied two total blocks, and one dig and service ace, as Wyoming swept New Mexico to secure the No. 5 seed in the MWC Tournament. On the week, Seele averaged 3.50 kills, 1.00 blocks and 0.33 digs per game, while hitting .486 (21-4-35).
