Rebels Place Eight On MWC Academic Team Allison Keeley has had at least seven honored for the past four seasons.

LAS VEGAS - UNLV placed eight volleyball student-athletes on the 2007 Academic All-Mountain West Conference team, the league announced on Feb 7. UNLV tied BYU and New Mexico for the conference lead with eight honorees apiece. Ever since Allison Keeley took over the volleyball program, she has had at least seven student-athletes recognized by the conference for their academic prowess. To be eligible for selection student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the school while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their team.
