No. 57 New Mexico Down San Diego Lobos Record Fourth Sweep

HONOLULU, HAWAII--- The University of New Mexico women's tennis team improved to 8-6 on the season by sweeping, 7-0, San Diego in Hawaii. The Lobos collected their third sweep on the doubles court this season. In singles, Sandra Zmak collected her 20th victory of the season by beating Helene Lindstrand 6-4, 6-0 in the No. 2 spot. Mackenzie White won 6-1, 6-2 against Carla Tamborini while Lucy Scott beat Alexandra Demidova 6-2, 6-2. Emma Hayman improved to 18-12 when Tammy Kevey retired in the third set. The Lobos prepare for MWC action when they travel to Fort Worth to take on Air Force, Wyoming and Colorado State starting March 28. Doubles 1. Scott/Abou-Zekry (UNM) def.
