TCU junior defender Sara Schneider sat down with GoFrogs.com this week for the final time to talk about her thoughts on the spring season. This is the final installment of Schneider's weekly journal.

Sixth Installment
As I close my spring journal, I first want to thank all those who have been reading this season.

Sure we haven't won every game this spring and yes we have had a couple of breakdowns along the way, but as long as our coaches believe and we believe that we have the ability and desire to compete, it will come together and we will be stronger because of it.

I'm excited for the summer because, one, I am tired of homework and two, a lot of the girls will be around working camps as well as working out. Sophomore Lizzy Karoly is even going to Iceland this summer to play. She is a great person and player and this is an amazing opportunity for her. We love her and are so very proud of her.

It is important that we keep playing and stay in-shape throughout the summer because that will put us ahead of the game in the fall. Dr. Upton will be helping us with condition all summer with weight and track workouts. We love Dr. Upton and are so grateful for everything he has done for us this spring.

Spring has come to an end, but make sure you keep following my summer and fall journals for all the info and action of the girls and me. Thanks and have a great summer.

I want to dedicate this to Mark's mom who recently passed away. You and your family are in are hearts and prayers.
