Utah Soccer Gearing Up for Spring, Summer Camps Spring clinics to be offered for first time
March 10, 2008
SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah Women's Soccer Academy is back for more fun and challenging soccer camps and clinics at the University of Utah this spring and summer. In addition to the summer camps, UWSA will offer spring clinics for both field players and goalkeepers this year. The Academy, directed by Utah head coach Rich Manning, will hold clinics on Mondays from March 31 through May 5 for young players ages 6 to 13. There will also be four weeks of soccer camps for girls of all ages and soccer backgrounds this June and July. Last summer, the Academy hosted more than 500 young players, as they developed new skills, built confidence, shared their passion for the game and made new friends. UWSA also offers team trainings by request. Interested teams should contact the Utah Soccer office for more information.
