TCU Falls to No. 7 North Carolina, 77-54 Ashley Davis scores 14 points to lead Frogs.

CANCUN, Mexico (AP) - Ivory Latta had 18 points to lead No. 7 North Carolina to a 77-54 victory over TCU on Saturday in the Caribbean Classic. North Carolina (4-0) used a 17-0 run to take a 20-5 lead. The Tar Heels shot 60 percent from the field in the first half and 53.7 percent overall. Latta was 7-of-10 from the field, Erlana Larkins added 14 points on 6-of-7 shooting, and Camille Little scored 12 points. North Carolina made 11 of 19 3-point attempts and outrebounded TCU 38-19, with Larkins and La'Tangela Atkinson each finishing with nine. Ashley Davis led TCU (2-2) with 14 points. North Carolina opened the seven-team event Friday with a 79-72 victory over Arizona State. TCU beat Mississippi State 72-52 on Friday.
