FRESNO, Calif. (AP) -Chantella Perera made four 3-pointers and scored 21 points to help Fresno State upset No. 22 BYU 61-51 Friday night.
Perera finished 4-for-5 from behind the arc for the Bulldogs (2-0), who led 28-25 at halftime. Tierre Wilson had 10 points and Jasmine Marshall and Andrea Roberson finished with seven rebounds apiece.
Melinda Johnsen had 12 points and Dani Kubik Wright finished with 10 for BYU (2-2).
The Cougars made four of 23 3-pointers and finished 22-for-62 overall from the field.
Fresno State outrebounded BYU 45-37 and went 19-for-56 from the field.
