New Mexico Closes Out Non-Conference With A Victory No. 68 Lobos Beat Texas A&M- Corpus Christi 4-0

ALBQUERQUE, N.M. - The University of New Mexico men's tennis team defeated Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, 4-0, on Saturday to close out its non-conference portion of the schedule. In doubles, Max Jones and Kamil Pajkowski beat Pavlov/Novikov 8-6 at No. 1. Chris and Johnny Parkes played the No. 2 spot and collected an 8-6 victory over Montoisy/Langford. Johnny Parkes played on the No. 2 court in singles, collecting a 7-6, 6-3 win against Mikhail Pavlov. Graeme Kassautzki won his match in the No. 3 spot against Dmitry Novikov. Miles Bugby needed three sets to decide his match against Jaume Farras but gave the Lobos the victory with a 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 match. The Lobos improve to 13-6 heading into Mountain West Conference action. New Mexico plays host to three MWC foes starting April 4 against Utah at 1:30 p.m. Doubles 1.
