TCU track and field earns All-Conference accolades TCU had 24 student-athletes earn All-Conference honors.

FORT WORTH, Texas - After capturing 12 individual conference titles and the women's conference championship at the Mountain West Conference Indoor Championships this past weekend, the TCU track and field team was honored on Monday with the announcement of the league's Men's and Women's All-MWC Indoor team.
As announced by the league office, TCU had 24 student-athletes named to the Mountain West Conference Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field team. Following a conference title, the women's team had 12 selections, while the men's team also had 12 honorees following a second-place finish. In total, TCU's women's team had all-conference selections in nine events, while the men's team also had all-conference selections in nine different events. Headlining TCU's selections was Brittany Blaylock, who made the list in three different events. Virgil Hodge, Neidra Covington, Kishelle Paul, Jessica Clarke, Kristal Juarez, Jonathan Jackson, Otis McDaniel, Dell Guy and Jordan Pitts each were honored two times. On the women's side, Hodge won the 60 and 200 meters this past weekend. Her success earned her the Women's Outstanding Performance at the MWC Championships. Blaylock received all-league honors by placing second in the 60-meter dash, third in the 200-meter dash and as a member of the 4x400 relay. Also earning honors were Covington, who won the long jump and triple jump and Paul, who won the 60-meter hurdles and ran a leg on the 4x400 relay. Clarke received all-league honors for finishing second in the 200 and as a member of the 4x400 team. Juarez was also honored for placing second in the 400 meters and running on TCU's winning 4x400 relay team. Other honorees included, JimAnne Hejny, who placed second in the long jump, Candis Kelley, who won her third-consecutive shot put title and the women's distance medley team of Tanja Ivandic, Meaghan Ryan, Meaghan Peoples and Danielle Selner, who placed third overall in the event. On the men's side, Jackson was honored for winning the triple jump and placing second in the long jump, while McDaniel earned honors after placing second in the 60 and 200 meters. Jordan Pitts finished first in the 60-meter hurdles and was a member of TCU's 4x400 team and Guy finished third overall in the 400 meters and was a member of the 4x400 relay team. Other honorees on the men's side, were Che Chavez, who finished second overall in the 400-meter dash, Festus Kigen, who crossed the finish line in third-place in the 3,000 meters, Thomas Killen, who placed third in the shot put, Andon Mitchell, who won the 60 meters and Justyn Warner, who recorded a third-place finish in the 60-meter dash. Finally, Clemore Henry and Matthew Love were honored as being members of TCU's winning 4x400 relay squad. TCU will next be in action at the NCAA Indoor Championships in Fayetteville, Ark. on March 14-15.
