TCU will host the 2008 Mountain West Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships at the Lowdon Track and Field Complex in Fort Worth, Texas, May 14-17. This marks the first time TCU has played host to the conference championship.

The Lowdon Track and Field Complex serves as the backdrop to the southwest entry of the TCU campus. The track was named as an "Outstanding" Track Complex by the United States Tennis Court and Track Builders Association in 2000.

The facility was officially dedicated October 25, 1999, and boasts the fastest running surface available today, an all-weather Rekortan track.
